I usually come up with a scenario in my head and act it out, like role playing. Pick something ridiculous and see who you can convince. I’ve had conversations with people as a mortician although I’ve never even touched a cadaver. Of course, I always enjoy people watching and eavesdropping as well.
What do you like? It’s time to do it. Reading, going out, going to the cinema…
I can’t really tell you because I don’t know your taste.
Go to local restaurant, just go get something different to eat. Sit and listen to locals.
Go to museum, art and natural history are my favorites, just walk around there and absorb.
Find community dinner, my wife and I went a pet shelter one last summer. We sat across from retired couple that lived, before retirement, twenty miles from I went to high school.
Go to a park and do some people watching. Best time to do it is Sunday Morning.
Start reading a new novel. Get a sketch book and draw some stuff. Go online and find a recipe, then make the recipe. Go to the movies. Get out your camera or your phone and go and take some beautiful landscape photos. Go to a craft store and see if there are any fun things to make. Binge watch a TV show that you’ve been meaning to watch. Walk on the beach and hunt for shells. Organize your photographs. Write and mail a real letter to an old friend. Scan some old photos onto your computer. Go on Pinterest, create a page for Recipes to Try, then start hunting down recipes and put them on that board. Go to a local park and take a walk, better yet if it’s a park that has some swings.
Play tourist. Search the internet for things to do and see in your area. Funky little out-of-the-way parks, museums or zoos. I’ve found butterfly houses, museums dedicated to people and things I’d not heard of before and at least one tiny zoo. Don’t rush to get there…walk if possible or public transit. Keep an eye out for food you’re sort of familiar with, but haven’t tried. Street vendors or food courts are fun.
Treat yourself to a matinee. If you have second hand shops, wander through some.
wow some really helpful advice here..I definately won’t be bored in a long time :b thanks guys
