They should grow completely out in about six months if all else fails. In the meantime, you are color-coordinated. Paint your toenails a matching pink.

Try soaking them in lemon juice.

Or just color them red. That usually looks good.

Nail polish remover might work.

This will pass too, but it will take four to seven months.
Most coloring kits tell you to use gloves. The fingernails and hair are made from keratin and dye colors them the same. The idea of having your nail polish current until then is the only thing I can think of to cover pink nails.

If soaking them in lemon juice doesn’t work, you might also try vinegar.

A like product like Goop might help.

HEY! This looks like your ticket!

Just be sure to moisturize after you try any of these remedies.

Normally the bright “Punky Colors” stuff isn’t all that permanent. I died my hair with it and took a swim in a pool and it got the color out. I would just soak your hands in bleach for a few minutes and see if it fades it any.

I once asked a female hairdresser how she colored her hair so brightly. She told me that she would tell me the secret, because I wasn’t about to do it myself or use the knowledge in a competitive way against her:

She used Jello mix. Apparently all you need to do is mix a paste of the (unsweetened) Jello mix of your choice and use that to dye the hair. (I never asked her about how it was applied, but I guess if it’s going to be an effective dye you should probably wear gloves.)

Try soaking them is a water/bleach solution. Like, ¼ cup bleach to 1 qt. water.

Bleach is bad for your skin.

You can go to your hairdresser and they probably have a chemical they use for removing dye from skin when they accidentally get it on people’s skin.

Maybe straight acetone will work? I think it’s fine to try bleach to lighten the color. Bleach on a cotton ball like you use nail polish remover.

Or, you can just paint your nails a color you like until it grows out. Keep your nails shortish and it will seem to grow out faster. It will take about two months if they are kept short. That’s what I would do. You can use pink or vamp and it will go with your look.

Rubbing alcohol.

Depending on the brand of hair dye you used, it will rub off on anything that touches your hair, especially anytime your hair is wet. Pillowcases, white or light colored shirts, bath towels, they will all turn a little pink. The good news is that it rarely permanently stains things if you always wash them on cold.

Color Oops Hair Color Remover

It’s a specific product that is specifically designed to remove the excess color in a safe and gentle way.
Lemon juice, vinegar, and bleach may have the desired immediate result, but are acid based and run the risk of causing dry nails and cuticles which could be just as big a pain in the butt along the line.

(In addition to my previous post) The bleach solution could be applied sparingly to only the nails with a cotton swab.

I have pink hair at the moment and I’ve had every color of the rainbow several times throughout the last 15 years, rubbing alcohol works the best and it’s cheap.
It also removes permanent marker from most surfaces.
