Have you ever tried to calm down and reassure a Guinea Pig?
They always sound like they are terrified.

I haven’t. If I did, I think I’d provide a quiet, safe place it can hide in and try to coax it to go there. Other than stroking it gently, I can’t imagine how I might calm an anxious guinea pig.
If they make quieter, lower pitched, wuffling kinds of sounds, they are pretty happy. If they make louder squealing sounds, they aren’t so happy. They will beg for food with a high pitched whiny squeal whenever they hear rustling paper. They think it’s lettuce.
My guinea pigs as a kid were pretty easygoing—as far as guinea pigs go. They are pretty high strung, but that doesn’t mean they are actually terrified all the time. They aren’t like cats—they are extremely high energy. If they get too anxious, they will go inside a box and chew it up from the inside to calm down.
What noise do they make when they want to eat their children/mate?
There’s a difference? lol
Gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, all small, noisy, eat their young and pop well over a fire before you eat em.
No, but I did once negotiate a temporary ceasfire with a rabbit, them fuckers drive a hard deal.
Guinea pigs are Lagomorphs and more closely related to rabbits than the other vermin like little rodents.
No my dog is enough of a prblem. Guinea pig would be a walk in the park compared to this canine.
