Why won't my iPhone do the update?

Is your computer connected to to internet?

It won’t automatically sync for me sometimes. Try opening iTunes and manually syncing it.

On the iPhone info screen (click on the device name in the source list), there should be an update button. Use this to run the 2.0 update.

Syncing happens automagically (unless you tell it not to), but updates do not happen in the same fashion.

Is your iTunes up to date? It needs to be version 7.7. In iTunes go to “help” at the top and select check for updates. Good luck!
