It was Friday the 13th, how did you fare?

Yesterday my school assignment went very well. I helped a passer-by with some problem and they were really grateful. I introduced my family a new recipe for a new dish and it turned out to be great.

And only before I went to bed did I realize yesterday was Friday the 13th.

Nothing hit me, nothing fell off and I’m can still walk.

Was he lost and you gave him directions, or was he a shark who needed some muscle to collect on a loan? ;-p

I didn’t ‘get lucky’. Does that count?

Maybe I’ll have some pie today.

I found out my cat has worms. It seems much more sane to blame Jesus for that than a random day on a calendar.

That or the cat ate a dead flea. Probably Jesus.

All good. No disasters. Friday the 13th was a bit of a fizzer in terms of disasters for me.

However, we have cyclones wreaking havoc for others, so I hope they don’t do too much damage.

It was my birthday and like @LuckyGuy, I didn’t get lucky, but I called myself a lucky girl for all the love I was shown.

All in all, a pleasant day for me. Never gave the date a thought.

I was killed several times a series of horrible accidents.

Well I lived through it, so guess I can’t bitch.

Exactly like every other day.

I bought a new video game yesterday, Saint’s Row IV. My friend and her boyfriend came over, and when we created the character we tried to make her boyfriend as the character. We spent almost two hours creating the character so he would look like him. We pretty much failed, but it was hilarious.

And when we finally started playing the actual thing, we wanted to go buy clothes for our guy but we didn’t have any money…as is inevitable in these sandbox games, we stole cars and just ran people over and shit. So…it was a bad time for the citizens in the game.

It was a pretty good Friday. Got a bit of a headache today though. >_>

All the whales being slaughtered on research ships, deer and duck being hunted in the US, and dolphins being killed while men try satisfy the masses craving for tuna, are all Jesus’ fault too?

Your birthday was many years ago….what one is left with is an annual mortality marker, if you reach it, is shows you survived the last 12 months and are starting on the next 12 months you hope you get to complete.

Nothing noteworthy either positive or negative happened to me and I didn’t realize it had been Friday the 13th until it was mentioned on the evening news.

But even if I had known, it would not have made any difference. I don’t believe in that superstitious crap.

For people who do experience something negative and blame it on the day, it’s basically just a case of confirmation bias.

3 people were wounded in a gun fight at a bar close to my home town. It was a popular local and it feels more urgent cause I know that’s where a lot of people I know hang out frequently.

Had a pretty good Friday. I found my old hockey mask, and I had just finished sharpening up my machete, man I love that thing.

Just spend all day cleaning up though, sheesh.
