For a really large amount of money would you become a slave for a limited time?
If for being a slave for 7 years you would be rewarded freedom and 800 million dollars, would you? If you took the 3 year option you would be given 500 million, and given 150 million of you entered into slavery for 18 months. As a slave the owner could not maim or disfigure you, starve you, have you eat foods not for humans (no diet of dog foot etc.), they cannot leave you physically impaired, tattoo your body, violate you sexually, burn you with cigarettes, torture you, or have you engage in activity that would be dangerous and likely to lead to death. They can, use harsh coercion methods, they can slap you, whack you with heavy phonebooks, flog you with rubber hoses, spit on you, leave you without heat, not provide adequate blankets etc. and they cannot work you more than 11 hours a day and must give you one day of rest a week. Truthfully, would you ever think of it? What if you hit really hard times, would it look better? When you think of the fact you’d be set for life at the end, it would still be unpalatable?

If you are getting it as you go, then you are a “wage slave” more than just a slave.
That doesn’t sound much different than farm work. No heat in the winter, hotter than hell in the summer, you get spit on, shit on, and pissed on, an 11 hour day is a holiday, you don’t get hit with hoses, just shitty tails and you get kicked and stepped on, and death is never far away if you screw up. Where do I sign?

Don’t you know that the use of telephone books and rubber hoses are a favored way of seriously injuring people (internal organ damage with long-term debilitating effects) without leaving marks? This is professional torture shit. Think pissing blood, suffering continuous diarrheal scurvy from a planned lack of Vitamin C, or rickers from a lack of D, cracked ribs, torn spleen, bruised liver or pancreas. Then sleep on a cold concrete floor for a couple of months and, combined with the inability to breathe deeply, you will soon contract and die of static pneumonia—your lungs will slowly fill with water and you will drown. It’s not a pretty death, and it is can simply be caused by bad conditions and passive neglect on the part of your jailer without the beatings. People die everyday in prisons all over the world from exposure to heat and cold. The filth factor alone temps a horrible death from infection and e. coli. In other words, there is no way to escape the maiming, crippling and threat of death if the sadists are allowed to do any of this. Anyone agreeing to this for any length of time at all is sick… and if they aren’t out of their miserable masochistic minds to begin with, they will be long before the first eighteen months is up.
And these fucking sadists who would make this offer should be dragged out into the street and shot—live on TV. Fuck ‘em. I’ll be glad to do it. People like this do not belong on the same planet breathing the same air as the rest of us.

They can only work you for 11 hours, and just because they can withhold blankets and heat don’t mean they will, likewise for driving you with a rubber hose, some owners might actually have some compassion.
Hell no, I already did that in a 22 year marriage and while my freedom is sweet the price tag was pretty damn dismal. lol

Most of us spend a lifetime slaving for scraps. There is no way to pair the word “slave” with 18 months for 150 million dollars. In view of the compensation, the terms are ridiculously mild, and the “position” could be filled for a great deal less. What you are describing is a very lucrative JOB.

No, I have been a wage slave most my life. These days I am working on channeling my inner immigrant, and letting my entrepreneur spirit find ways where I can make money for myself, than then have that money make more money.
