My wife is a dietitian and she will tell you that it has antioxidants, good for the heart, anti-aging, amti-Alzheimer’s disease. And more good stuff.

I drink green tea every morning and what I like about it is that it helps me to wake up without making me jittery like coffee does to me. Green tea has a smooth stimulant effect on me that I really like. I don’t drink green tea for the flavor which is very weak to nothing. I drink it because it helps me to get going without making my heart flip-out.

It is supposed to help with weight loss. I personally do not care much for the taste of it.

Good tea is fun and interesting like good wine. The variations are endless.

But tea has a minuscule amount of nutrition. The biggest benefit is if it replaces sugary sodas and “energy” drinks.
