Heterosexual male jellies: When was the last time you held hands with another male?
Just pulled over to read an email in the car. It happened to be by an elementary school.
I noticed two boys (maybe around eight or nine) holding hands on the playground. It struck me at how rare it is to see this past a certain age.
This made me feel kind of sad.
Hopefully I’m just generalizing and some hand-holding jellies can correct my skewed perspective.

Probably about 37 years ago, with my brother. We were at a disco, which seemed to have mostly gay patrons, and we had a good time. :-)
I was superficially intimate with two other men, about 45 years ago.
Other than like to say grace at a family dinner never.
Thanksgiving (for the blessing before we ate).
Thursday night as we circled up at the end of Choir Practice.
My brother held my hand while they knocked me out for surgery last year.
I just did a Google image search for “men holding hands”. It seems to be merely a friendly thing in India. It’s charming.
I asked my husband and he said at a conference when they were all required to stand in a circle and hold hands. He said he’d held the hands of mates over the years to express support. Say a friend is going through some sort of emotional experience.
Not since I worked in a hospice in 2002.
I can’t imagine my husband holding the hand of a male friend. His father yes, but not anyone else I don’t think.
While visiting Marrakesh, we often saw two male adults strolling down the street holding hands. This is in a country where homosexuality is punishable by law. Chalk the hand-holding up to an acceptable custom there.
