If escaping danger means teaming up with a social pariah, would you?
You were on a sightseeing excursion by small plane (even if you are afraid to fly like I, go with it), gunfire from the jungle below disables the plane. The pilot is able to make a reasonably soft crash landing but not everyone on the plane survives. You are well, just a few scratches. A young very petite woman also made it through mostly unscathed, the pilot, with a broken arm. The only other survivors are an old man with lung problems and who lost his wife in the crash, and a strapping man late 20s to early 30s, with just cuts and bruises. However, you recognize him from the news as being released from prison four months ago for sleeping with his daughter and a foster child. The pilot says there is help in a village 8 or so mile from where you crashed. The idea is to get to the village, get help, and do so before dark or before who was shooting finds the plane. The going will be hard slog through the jungle, marches, steep rocky terrain. Knowing time is of the essence, and the trip will be physically demanding, and if you run into who was shooting you might have to defend yourself, who do you take? Do you take who you like even if they will slow you down, and can’t aid in defense, or do you take someone who is a societal outcast but might help in the success of saving everyone?

I go alone. The guy stays to defend the plane.
I’m assuming that for some reason I can’t do this myself. So, it would come down to the petite woman or the incestuous paedophile. “Small and petite” might also mean light and fast. Women will surprise you. On the average, I’ve found their stamina impressive. If the woman wasn’t a complete high maintenance ditz and had some athletic ability, I’d take her. And like the ragingloli wrote above, somebody has to guard the plane, which sounds like a job for strapping man. And removing the small and petite woman from his locale would prevent any problems he might give her. Otherwise, I’d have no problem going for help with the paedophile, since I seriously doubt that he would find me attractive prey.
Having worked for an admitted pedophile, I would probably take him with me to find help. Naturally, he may not make it. On the other hand, I try not to think I know the entire story behind people villainized by the media.

Why does the plane need to be guarded? What’s in there that we need? If it crashed, everything in it is probably all busted up and fucked. Well the pedophile can guard it if need be. But I would rather we all go together. I’d take the woman first though, if she has a broken arm, she’s in need of medical assistance as soon as possible, plus she’s the one who knows where the village is. Then again that might just slow me down. But someone needs to get help, or bring it back. Going all together would be best, I’m ready to sacrifice whatever’s in the plane for my survival.
But we’re talking about a jungle here…those are pretty hazardous for people without experience in them. Since some bastards shot us down, I’m assuming that they know the jungle, or that it’s a rather tame jungle. Hopefully the last one, otherwise we’re pretty much all dead if there is no civilization nearby, and if the shooters are coming for us. Eight miles in a jungle is pretty badass yo. Step into one wrong place, get bit by some snake, and that’s it man, you’re fucked. Plus the humidity in a jungle prevents cuts from coagulation, the pedophile might have a hard time of it. And I probably have cuts too. So I say we all go together if possible, and bring what essential supplies we need. Some food, water, first aid stuff, rope and whatever we can use as weapons. Assuming all that stuff is available from the debries.
Oh shit…I read the details a second time, I totally forgot about the old man. Well, obviously he can’t make the trip. Can’t leave him alone there. Well I’m taking the girl if she can make it, cuz she needs help first. I’d take the old man too, but I’m assuming he can’t make that trip. The guy’s situation isn’t urgent, so I’m not taking him. Although he’s probably better suited for the trip than the other two, I’m assuming that I am just as capable.

Unless you forgot, whoever finds the plane will have weapons, no one on the plane will have anything to use as an equalizer, if anything, whoever is at the plane will be killed or taken captured. Those in the village will have equal fire power. The prudent thing would seem to get reinforcements, and as quick as possible BEFORE the p[lane gets found.

Guess I fucked up my answer pretty good haha…well, if it is hopeless for whoever stays near the plane if the hunters come back, I would say take the girl and the guy, leave the old man and pilot behind. This way the healthy ones can get the shit done as fast as possible and get help.
If not, leave the guy behind to protect the two others; the man will be more intimidating than the small woman, if anything, should the hunters arrive. Or hell, I’ll stay behind while the woman and pedophile go for help. I can be a mean she dog if I must. :D
