Is it true that putting a few drops of Visine in someone's drink will make them really sick?

Some of the active ingredients in Visine that "lubricate" your eyes will do the same for your guts, and serve as a makeshift laxative.. I think there was a CSI based on this idea, where a waitress accidentally killed a rude customer like this.

According to snopes, that's actually one of the things that visine will NOT do. It will cause a bunch of other effects, but a laxative is not one. Regardless, it's considered poisoning which is a felony, so I don't wish to find out if this is true or not.

Perchik, you are indeed correct, I just called my friend who is a nurse, and she says that it won't work as a laxitive, but will mainly induce crazy cramps, and vommiting.

Fact! It can actually kill someone. Depending on what the interaction.
It could halter breathing, nausea, vomitting, blurry vision. This is very dangerous! Think twice before you do this to anyone. You could be a felon it no time.
