Can you help me find a specific 1950's era children's book about gardening?

I am not positive, but I think the book was called Indoor and Outdoor Gardening.

It might have been a Junior Elf book or Little Golden Book (although I recall that it did not have the distinctive gold foil on the spine like most Little Golden Books that I am aware of) but it was of a similar ilk. It was definitely from the 1950’s because it was my brother’s book. It was all about children and gardening projects, including flower gardens and vegetable gardens. What I liked most about this particular book was the lovely illustrations. The style was similar to the illustrations on this Children’s Dress Pattern and featured both boys and girls from the 1950’s.

My brother and I had this book when we were little kids, but it’s long since disappeared. I have looked long and hard for it for several years, online and in thrift stores and antique stores with no luck. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the author or the illustrator, but I’m pretty sure the title is Indoor and Outdoor Gardens. I’m sure it’s out of print and none of our little friends had this book so it might have been relatively rare.

Does this ring a bell for any of you folks?

Could any of these be the one? Go to the Library of COngress website, see if any of the book titles and authors ring a bell.
