I assumed it would rain today, and it did.
Difficult question. I’m sure I make dozens of assumptions throughout the course of a day, but I can’t think of a single one right now. I’m guessing I’d be most likely to recall the ones that were either spectacularly wrong, or the ones that I was right about.
I assumed that planning an overseas work trip followed by a holiday would cause me stress and untold and ridiculous amounts of paperwork. My assumption was correct.
Yup. Very unfortunate that it was.
I assume you’re presuming that I assumed something today. So am I right?
But fo real do – Last thing I assumed was that the person I’d be forced to work with in close quarters for the next 24 hours was a real feeb that I’d have difficulty getting along with. So far I’ve been wrong. They aren’t bad at all.
@Earthbound_Misfit My bad. I assumed everyone knew what it meant. xD
I had to GQ this (apparently that’s wat you say here) for making me think about how often I make assumptions throughout the day – some of which could lead me down an incorrect line of thinking.
No it wasn’t & now my head hurts…a lot.
I assumed the wife would appreciate my honesty when I informed her that yes, her bum did in fact look big in that dress. Pans are extremely dense & should never be brandished in anger.
The last big assumption I made was that a friend was there for me long term. Boy was I wrong on that one!
One of my main philosophies in life is to never assume anything. So when I do assume, I assume that I am correct.
Yes…
I assumed I did my interviews well enough to get the new job and I did.
I am so happy! This means my family will soon live together again.
In one house.
In a country where personal freedom is actually valued!!!!
