Will we ever see a day when there isn't a social media craze?
Boston Blizzard challenge, sibling day photos, planking, selfies, mamming.
Will it ever stop?

If you don’t pay attention to day-to-day inconsequential trivia, there are no crazes.
A day, possibly. It’s unlikely, though. When people get together to talk, they will talk. Facebook often reminds me of a huge neighbourhood meeting.
I haven’t even heard of most of the crazes you mentioned. The trick is to,
1) Filter your Facebook feed so only the people and organizations that interest you will show up and
2) Spend little time on Facebook in general
I think it will have somewhat of a life cycle. I don’t think it will ever disappear, but it might slow down in some circles. Politics was like that for me. For a few years I was watching more than one political show and talking about politics a lot. About 3 years ago I stopped watching and discussing it for the most part. I still have some interest, but instead of it consuming 10 hours of my week, I’m down to maybe an hour. During the election year I will pay attention a little more.
I’m on Facebook almost every day, but usually just for half an hour. Once in a while I’m on for a few hours straight. It can be great fun.
Probably not. We appear to very much be herd animals.
That’s totally up to you. Just don’t login to social media lol.
I don’t know half of the things you mentioned.
