I want a good tasting one if they really do supply lots of protein. TIA

“Protein shakes can range from 100% protein to mostly carbohydrates with a little added protein and fat.” Source
Sources of protein in most shakes:
Milk
Whey
Casein
Egg
Soy
Rice
Hamburger patty, 4 oz – 28 grams protein
Steak, 6 oz – 42 grams
Chicken breast, 3.5 oz – 30 grams protein
You might also consider hemp seeds, yogurt and avocados.
scoop of whey – 20 grams
cup of yogurt – 10 grams
avocado – 2 grams
egg – 6 grams
Then you can add some frozen spinach, a frozen banana and some frozen berries.
Someone gave me some 8 oz, 237ml bottles of vanilla flavored Ensure Plus . (They were outdated and were going to be thrown away. And since I have a reputation for not wasting “food”...)
The 8 oz bottle contains 13 grams of protein, 350 calories, and about 25%-40% of the daily values for most vitamins and minerals.
You can compare that with the info @gailcalled posted above.
Look at the labels.
Beware that if you watch your cholesterol some of the protein shakes are high in cholesterol and I think a lot of people don’t anticipate that.
