Did you understand the ending of Numb?

I just finished watching the Matthew Perry movie Numb on Netflix and I didn’t understand the ending. Whose car did Hudson get into at the end of the movie? Was the some sort of meaning to the ending scene that I didn’t get? I tried doing a quick Google search to see if I could find anything but came up empty.

I have to admit I’m feeling quite numb after watching this movie…

If you pay attention to other parts int he movie then you’ll notice that Sara drives a silver Mercades. When she’s seen her going in to the video store he went in, gave her his line and added that he still feels most comfortable at the corner of (whatever intersection) at 4:45 in the morning. He then left, the scence came on with him waking up and then standing at that intersection and he cracked a smile when he seen the silver Mercades coming up the road.
