8 I love that shape, it’s all squiggly & yet ordered & neat at the same time.
I like 12 years old. Six foot one tall and in shape. Also I fit in the tub.
I was still in fighting shape well into my 40’s, but the last few years I’ve gone a biit soft. Oh well, I still have lots of spring in my step.
Definitely at 42–43. Then I hurt my shoulder in a fall, and I’ve been slowing down ever since.
I looked better naked when I was 20, but I am way stronger now.
I’d say after I was out of high school. I worked out a lot those years, especially my senior year. I was on and off after that, but have been going strong and committed now since January.
28. Just before my beard started showing gray.
Right now, at 19. Full of energy, physically and mentally.
I’d win a fight at this age. I could sit on and pin my younger thinner self. As for when I was in the best shape I’d say in my early 20s. But I have never been in a fight. I have no idea what capacity I have ever had for that.
Hmmm, when I was 15 I came back from a two week 175 mile backpacking trip lean and mean and quick.
My early twenties just before I got into trucking.
I could lift 125lbs over my head.
heavily into lots of physical stuff, long distance swimming, dirt bike racing , down hill skiing .
When I was about 30 I was in great shape from doing manual labor that was about equivalent to fighting a fire-hose 8+ hours a day.
When I was about 38–39 I was strict vegetarian, didn’t drink or smoke and still did manual labor, though less strenuous. Around that time I got a financial windfall and took myself on a driving tour of the west. I came back brown as a brotha’ (As I was told by my black friend at work) and happy as a clam.
All my life, until, maybe 10 years ago.
0–13 I was in great shape because I was a free range kid.
14–18 I was in track and volleyball. And I was a free range kid.
19–22 College, walked miles and miles. I was a free range college kid.
23–27 I had 3 kids. Then I had a day care That’ll keep you in shape!
28–35 I played volleyball 3 days a week. One was competitive co-ed.
I just never really went out of shape.
10. Fifth grade was my fitness peak.
Oh yeah, and Ta-Qwon-Do 22–23.
At 22 I was working in a lumber yard. I could run through a brick wall then. I dated basically who I wanted.
At 27 I was mountain biking 3 hours daily and could go on with cardio forever. Could not get a date.
I’m still (reasonably) invincible. It will change with time I am sure, but right now even I would not lose in a fight against myself. And that is saying something.
