What would happen if I will run away from my parents while traveling abroad?

Think of the pain and anguish you will put your parents through. Think of the panic they will feel and how they won’t want to leave the country until they find you. Don’t do that. It’s cruel.

Yes they will find you. They would be worried sick about you, no matter what you think.

What is your game plan for after you run away? How would you survive?

Why would you want to abandon your parents while in a foreign country? What have they done (to you) to deserve such cruelty?

How old are you? If you are under 18 most likely what will happen is you will wind up in a very dire situation. Dangerous.

No offense to other people, but I think everyone is asking all of the wrong questions. Instead of focusing on how running away would make the parents feel, I think it’s important to ask this:

Why do you want to run away?

You already know what the right thing to do is. If you don’t do the right thing, the consequences could make a significant scar in your life. Or worse.

There’s a lot that you’re not telling us. It sounds like you’re hurting but without knowing where the wound is, we won’t know where to place the bandage.

OK then, to answer the question as it was asked, it would depend on the age of the person asking the question and it would depend on the country. Without knowing those two things, it’s really hard to answer accurately.

BUT WHY? If you want their attention ask for it directly!

Where are you traveling? WIll you be on a tourist visa?

How will you live on your own?

I ran away once and I was 17 and had about 900 bucks in my pocket. I still failed miserably and I didn’t even leave the country.

There is a scale here. Are you being molested or do your parents just not let you do things you think you should be allowed to do?

To be honest I left because I had broken up with a girl and didn’t think I could survive if I had to see her at school again. It was idiotic. I failed and was back in a week after I ran out of money.

Don’t ever run away,unless your parents physically hurt you or they threaten to kill you. Then you need to call the police. Get help.

Stay with a relative, an older sibling, an Aunt, a Grandmother…etc.

But Never run to a different country. You will find yourself in very harmful and hard circumstances.

And Don’t depend on anyone, such as an “internet love” who promises you a life of bliss. NO. If that’s the case, think if they are so great, then why aren’t they having a g/f (b/f) where they are already? And if they “love” you, they will wait for you when you’re old enough.

Don’t run. There are laws to protect you. Use the law. :)
