If it's 2am Saturday morning do you feel that it is still Friday night?

Maybe it’s because I am nocturnal, but in the middle of the night it still feels to me like it’s the night before. We call it the middle of the night, not Saturday morning.
In the middle if the night last night I said I was happy tomorrow was Saturday, and someone pointed out it already was Saturday.

It definitely still feels like Friday night. Most of the time that’s because whatever I was doing on the actual Friday night is still happening. There’s no break in it from which to extract a separation of days.
Before I go to sleep, I usually feel like it’s still “night” even if technically it’s morning. However, somewhere around 3 or 4 a.m., I start to feel like it’s the morning of the next day, and I have more of an awareness that the sun is going to be rising and I have to get to sleep.
Yes. Until I go to bed, it is still the day before.
midnight ain’t nothing but a number
The counter isn’t reset until I pass out.
Depends on whether you have gone to bed or not.
If I go to bed at 11 or 12 and wake at 2, it’s “the middle of the night.”
If I am out having a good time or up late watching a movie, or having sex with my sweetie, it is Friday night.
If I am getting up to go on an adventure, it is Saturday morning.
If night was determined only by time of day, then midnight would not be called midnight, it would be called endnight.
Semantics. I figure it’s Friday night til you either fall asleep or pass out. When you awake, it is then Saturday (or maybe even Sunday).
It feels like Friday until I fall asleep, see the sunrise, or hear birds singing.
Always night until I’m asleep or it gets light outside, whichever comes first. (Usually light comes before sleep.)
@JeSuisRickSpringfield Our birds are confused…they start chirping at like 3:30am!
