Does the left testes always hang lower than the right?

So, I was examining my testicles this evening (looking for cysts or unusual lumps or whatever excuse I need to do so) and it got me to wondering is it always the left that hangs lower? Or do some males have a pair where the right hangs lower (like maybe those from the southern hemisphere) or that they are even?
Something they don’t teach in high school health class.

It completely depends upon which side of your brain is more dominant. For the small percentage of males that have an equally left and right brain dominance, their testicles are the same length. It is also applicable to a female’s labia.
Edit: That was just too good to resist. If you want a serious answer, please request that this question be moved to General. In reality, it doesn’t matter the size or length or anything of a person’s private bits. Cleanliness and health are what matters.
For me, yes, but I have a hydrocele.
This would make a great country & western song title.
During a physical exam many years ago, I asked the doctor about this, and why one seems a little bigger than the other. He said that there are veins on one side and arteries on the other. Since the veins work against gravity and the arteries work with it, the veins have to work harder, and some varicosity results. So I guess the veins on one side bulge for the same reason the veins in your grandmother’s calves do.
It occurs to me now that this might also result in a slightly different temperature. If the scrotum can scrunch one testicle to a different level of snugness than the other, I suppose it might respond to the different temperature of the two testicles by contracting more for one than the other.
I suppose they also might nest better if one is lower than the other, so they are less likely to get squeezed when a guy closes his legs, but that’s just a wild guess.
I thought it was the difference between northern and southern hemisphere. Below the equator, it’s the right one. North of the equator, the left one.

I guess it is like breasts in women where one is usually slightly bigger than the other.
Mine are equidistant today but it’s pretty cool in the office.
Gosh! That question has the makings of a Country-Western truck driving my wife left me for my best friend my dog just died crying in your beer song!
Do your balls hang low
Can you swing them to & fro
Can you tie them in a knot
Can you tie them in a bow
Do you get a funny feeling
When they’re hanging from the ceiling
Oh you’ll never be a sailor
If your balls hang low

Damn it. That’s stuck in my head now @ucme. Thanks.
If you have balls stuck in your head, then that’s your affair.
I don’t know the answer to your question, but in the spirit of inquiry, I thought I’d point out that testes is the plural form of testis (or testicle). The more you know!
