Are you gay? You have been sued! (A new entry in the pantheon of crazies)

Asked by elbanditoroso (33578points) May 6th, 2015

Nebraska woman sues “all gays” because she is the “representative of Jesus Christ”

How long will it be before the judge dismisses the case?

What gets into people?

And more to the point – what makes people so megalomaniac?

To me, she’s crazy and not worthy of any attention (and no, I’m not gay but wouldn’t worry about this suit if I were).

Why is any judge even considering this?

Jesus says: daughter, it has never been written anywhere that I will have any representative against gay people. Amen. ~

To hell with the psycho woman. She should be sued for stupidity!

Is this any worse than judging someone by the beauty of their feet?

Pandora's avatar

I would say it would be thrown out pretty fast. I don’t even think it will make it to a judge. Even if the judge was a religious person that believed being gay was a bad thing, he couldn’t take the case from someone believing they hear voices from a dead person. Well that is just crazy. I’m sure the court sees plenty of crazy petitions.

But it would’t surprise me if Ted Cruz decides to hire her.
The only thing that surprises me is that some Texan didn’t beat her in filing the suit.

@Adirondackwannabe…you can sue anyone for anything…it doesn’t mean that the judge won’t laugh her out of court.

Oh dear “god”. She should be suing her parents for brainwashing innocent children and causing grave mental health issues. Pffft!

Sounds like someone is a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

Obviously she didn’t get enough attention while a child.

This suit will doubtless be thrown out (as it should be).

Serious question: Can gay people file a class-action countersuit against the lady for filing a frivolous suit?

Kardamom's avatar

@marinelife No of course not! Persecuting gays and attempting to sue them in court for the sexual orientation that they were born with is not worse than asking someone to trim their toenails and use a little lotion on their feet.

@gorillapaws The court can bring charges against her for filing a frivolous suit. http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/votes/190310-house-approves-automatic-fines-for-filing-frivolous-lawsuits
But then again, I don’t know if you can sue a crazy person or fine a crazy person but I guess the court can send her to be held for 24 hours at a mental facility to find out if she is crazy enough not to face more serious charges.
I wonder why this hasn’t been used against themselves for all the waisted frivolous lawsuits they continue to bring forward.

Paul is gay. For god’s sake. Christ was created by a homophobia. Just wake up
