Care to play the jumbled nursery rhyme game?
Okay, the big picture is to create a giant run-on sentence using lines from nursery rhymes. The small picture is that your line should make perfect sense combined with the quote above you, but be from another rhyme. Rhyming is not important, idea flow is.
I might post:
“Twinkle, twinkle little star…”
From Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
and get the reply:
“I wrote a letter to my love…”
A Tisket a Tasket
Starting your reply with a conjunction (and but or for nor) is fine.
I’m betting this is too complicated for present-day Fluther to have fun with, but in the day…!)
