The knowledge that someday it will all be over! Peace and quiet! YAY!
Sleep, being submerged in my own world!
Not sure what that means.
@Blackberry Think of your life, or even just a day in it, as represented by a rope that you are climbing. The goal is to reach the top. Unfortunately, there can be setbacks. The knot at the bottom of the rope represents an opportunity to hold and give it another shot on instead of slipping off (meaning death, depression, loss of all hope, etc.).
So when you are feeling down or frustrated, what is the motivating factor (the knot) that stops you from sinking too low?
My kids and friends would be upset if I succumbed to depression.
My family, friends, and dog.
Knowing I have a few good friends who I can share anything with, and trust them with the information…
Friends, Family, and Faith.
One word and it’s spelled V-O-D-K-A.
That’s knot a not XD
It’s my fucking balls #spunk #fightingspirit
@Pied_Pfeffer Ah I see, thanks lol. I don’t really know what my knot is at the moment. I’m feeling pretty lost and just try to handle things day by day. My mother is helping me out financially, but she has also been the cause of some of my problems, so I feel like I’m forced to forget my underlying hatred for her because I need her help.
I haven’t asked anyone for anything the past 10 years, and now I need a lot of help. A few months ago I was sleeping in my car and ran out of money, so for self preservation purposes I finally caved and told my mother what happened because I was so freaking hungry lol. I lost my job because I was late one too many times, although I just got another one. But the debt is too much so there’s not much I can do except work and drink and hope I’ll still be able to be young and full of energy by the time I can actually be happy again.
So I guess my knot is my mother and escaping reality via drugs and alcohol.
@Blackberry It sounds as if you know what your “knot” truly is right now (and it isn’t the final line of your post). Mother’s Day in the US is Sunday. It might be worth letting her know that she is currently the knot in your rope. Parents appreciate this type of sentiment.
@Blackberry . . . The one nice thing about being at the bottom is that you don’t need a fucking rope anymore.
Here’s to you brother. Cheers!
