Is it even possible to have an "underwater waterfall"?

Scroll down through this article. The island claims to have an underground waterfall. How would that even be possible? Water falls through space. There is no space underwater.

It looks absolutely stunning and if I had to guess I would say currents are doing that, more than gravity.

The only thing I can think of are underwater vents. Even though it is underwater, if you have water flowing at a faster rate it can cause this effect.

That was beautiful. With my luck I’d have an underwear waterfall.

Check this out. It is what inspired my last two questions.

Yes it is. A current of cold water flowing into warm water will do the job.
