Art to me can be uplifting, saddening, heart warming, anger-making. I think that is it: it stirs my emotions.
Besides giving me aesthetic pleasure, art—any kind of art—constantly reminds me that there are still people among us who strive to create beauty rather than merely destroy it.
Art is the result of converting what’s inside a mind into a tangible form that can be experienced by others. Obviously, the personal meaning varies from piece to piece and person to person.
Art is the process by which we intentionally communicate our reality in ways that others have not previously considered.

Art is like love, something beautiful yet we can’t really explain why, something many seek and have different opinions about, and sometimes their opinions change with time.
Art is.
To paraphrase Justice Potter Stewart: [I can’t define what is Art] “But I know it when I see it.”
