What did you just polish off?

I gulped down a chocolate croissant ( half of it ) and an hour ago I gobbled up a few handfuls of pop corn. Did you eat something enthusiastically? Are you happy or guilty for doing so?

The center only of Oreo cookies. I don’t like the cookie part.
The end of the bag of potato chips. I’ve put on some winter weight this year and it’s time for it to go!
A Malibu Sunset (actually just coconut rum and orange juice, I didn’t have any grenadine or cocktail cherries).
I think I will have another as the sky has turned an ominous grey/green, the rains coming down at a 30 degree angle, lightning flashing and the thunder reverberating in the rafters as the next storm hits.
A ham, egg and cheese croissant.
A grilled cheese sandwich.
A salad of mixed greens, balsamic vinaigrette dressing, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, asparagus, avocado, and bacon. All washed down with a small bottle of San Pellegrino.
I ate at an Indian buffet for lunch (and breakfast). I still feel like a tranquilized wildebeest more than five hours later!
I was starving. It was the first thing I’d had to eat and it was 2 pm. Why would I feel guilty?
Haha…perfect timing. I JUST polished off 2 Jimboys chicken tacos and a grilled bean & cheese burrito. I went and got lunch take out from the famous Jimboys here for my friend and I.
Meal of the day, dinner will be salad and fruit. lol
www.jimboystacos.com Too bad for you east coasters, you don’t know what you’re missing. haha
A Concrete Mixer from Culvers. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
3 T of Haagan Dazs strawberry ice cream.
Got back an hour ago from a steak and prawn quesadilla that I indulge in every few weeks on those occasions when I miss both breakfast and lunch. The thing is so damned good I forget my troubles. I order it with cilantro & onions. It’s the most delicious thing you’re gonna find in this town for 10 bucks.
@gailcalled. I earnestly hope that “t” stands for truckload and not teaspoon or even tablespoon.
Has anyone tried those Talenti gellatos? That stuff is made by the devil!
At the time you were asking the question, I was having grilled trout at Cracker Barrel. The trout was delicious! (But I find their side dishes bland.)
Yes, I’ve tried the Talenti Gelatis. Unfortunately, the best part was the container (reusable plastic with screw-on top).
The texture was nice but way way too much sugar. Gahhh. And the price was astronomical (Due in part to the aforementioned container :)
@gailcalled you stopped at 3 tablespoons? The discipline in you dear Gail is something else!
Just finished the nectar of the gods, my first cup of wonderful, beautiful, glorious COFFEE after having to fast, stay up til 11 last night to take a weird pill and go in for blood work at 7:30 this morning. I can handle anything except not getting my morning java fix. lol
A wonderful (and I use the term sarcastically) Banquet Fettuccine Alfredo lunch and a gin & lemonade (I’m out of tonic).
@rojo Ewww, haha.
I bought this Lean Cuisine Turkey dinner thingy the other day, it was soooo nasty! It had freaking cranberries mixed in with green beans that tasted like chlorophyll water and the stuffing part was dry as a bone and the turkey was disgusting. The only frozen dinners I like are Stouffers french bread pizzas. lol
