Anything that will drown out the “beep beep” of those scooters
Pink Floyd’s the Wall, seems appropriate. After reading your link, I can’t help but wonder how someone can get hurt by lettuce.
None. I hate background music, whether at a store or a restaurant or… any place else. Keep the music off.
Ambient instrumental music generally classified as New Age. In particular, music by Anugama, Aeoliah and Liquid Mind.
I never think of Walmart playing music. I never notice it. I like when my regular supermarket plays oldies from the 50’s and 60’s. Also, cool dance music like Bronski Beat, Pet Shop Boys and other unexpected music from my teen years. In Memphis they played more than average amounts of Elvis. I loved that. I like to sing along or dance a little in the aisles.
None. I’d like a library zone at the entrance of supermarkets, in the hopes of that keeping people calmer.
Something soothing so it doesn’t add to my anger of people that block aisles with their buggies and themselves.
Well..I really like the music my local grocery store plays, all kinds of wacky retro stuff. A mix of nostalgic soft rock, and all kinds if unusual surprises.
The other day the theme to the Twilight Zone was playing, a whole bunch of us shoppers were having a great time with that. Trapped forever in the frozen foods section, you have just entered the twilight zone. lol
The hauntingly melodic pipes of pan.
None. I think they should work at reducing the sensory overload in those places.
