Anyone else have roaches in their mailbox every spring?

Asked by Aster (20028points) June 9th, 2015

It’s disgusting but I still find it funny in a way. Our mailbox is fifty feet in front of our house. Each spring I’ll open it to get our mail and one to three roaches will scurry away. No; we do not put food in our mailbox. Why is this happening?

That’s strange. They usually follow food.

They like dark areas. I’ve had them in my room , and I remember whenever I turned on the lights they’d scurry away. They also like papery cardboard things, which a lot of mail comes in.

Only male roaches. They hide in there from the females.

Haha…no, but we are over run with creepy earwigs everywhere, I think roaches are better than earwigs personally.
