Can you still get a lot of views on YouTube if you record games from your computer screen?

I want to start uploading minecraft videos but I don’t have that recorder where you can record the games you play. Can I still get a lot of views making a minecraft video recording from my computer screen?

Do you mean you use a camera to record the game while playing? I wouldn’t recommend that since it will produce a very poor quality video, and viewers don’t like watching something in so poor quality.
