What do you think this is?

Asked by GloomyArtist (50points) June 19th, 2015 from iPhone

Hey,

A little while ago I started noticing on my upper arm, little tiny ‘pimple’ with white liquid in it. It was itching and if I did itch it transformed my skin into A different dry texture, almost like eczema but it’s not eczema. Then a few months later it started on my face but worst. Its like at random times in the day my face would itch like crazy. Then when I look in the mirror there would be many all over the place. I try hard not to touch because when I scratch it it transformes into driy skin like a circle patch that is dry.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

I have tried exzema cream, allergies pills, washing my face with okra. But it stills there. I just want everything to go and not have it spread other places. Please help!

I have a dermatologist appointment Monday but he is very young he doesn’t seem to know what it is he made me do blood tests, tried creams and allergie pills, nothing. _’ what could it be!?

Was it a spider or insect bite perhaps?

It sounded like just a breakout of whiteheads to me at first but I don’t think the Fluther community would know more than your dermatologist, especially considering we’re not seeing you in person. Try another dermatologist.

Grab another doctor for a second opinion.

Check your place for bedbugs, just to rule that out.

Is there any unusual fungal outbreaks in your area?

I also vote for going to a different doctor, especially if you have doubts about the existing one.

In the meantime, how old are you? Age may matter. How often do you bathe? Overbathing or under-bathing can generate skin irritations. So can a change in skin care products. Have you spoken about it to your parents? It may be some hereditary condition.

@zephyra no not in my knowledge :/ you think it could be a passibility!?

@dsx :/

@rangingloli yes ! If monday there no coclusion i will! Thank you!

@gorillapaws lol xD no these are not the types of bites bedbugs give. I also dont have bedbugs at my house we no one in my house has that and the area where I live is not afected with bed bugs

@here2_4 no not even! :/ so im reay intrigue to know why and tired/overwhelmed at the same time

@pied_pfeffer im 22, I bathe every day, in the weekend i might come home late, just crash and take a shower the next day. I wash my sheets and my pillow every week. Havent changed products. I told it told my mom and she said to was my face with okra until it leaves. The okra helps calm the itching. No one in my family and aunt cousins dont have it.

Try Aloe Vera gel and keep it clean until a doctor takes a look. Sounds like some kind of allergy or insect bite. Could even be allergy to a plant outside, something you would not suspect. Keep us informed. Take care and do not scratch!

@ZEPHYRA yes probably! Thank you for the tip i will update you on Monday :). Have a nice weekend!

You seem to be ready to discount fungus right away, but what you describe sounds just like some of these images. Most of them are extreme, and nobody who is easily grossed out should look at them.
Look down through, and you will find some with little, white pimple like heads. Am I wrong about your description?

@Here2_4 good morning!
No it doesnt look like this at all. I have tried to search for picture but can find any. The white head is so tiny (a little smaller than a grain of salt) and its ichy and if i itch it transforms into dry skin :/

I sure hope this gets taken care of for you. Do let us know when you find a doctor finally who gets it right.
