Some trades require you to drive. Like cable repair man or plumber or electrical work.

That’s the nature of trades: the job site is always changing. Some type of transportation is necessary to get there.

Your best bet is a larger company with their own vehicles. You would show up at their office/shop and then ride to the job site. Lack of a license might restrict your advancement opportunities.

Or, maybe a job building manufactured homes in a factory/plant. That way, you’d be going to work at the same place everyday, They need most of the same trade skills.

Or, maybe a job in facility maintenance. A large enough complex would have their own maintenance staff. Or, maybe get into the building maintenance department of a school district. Most of them work out of a centralized location, and crews go from there to the various schools that need work done.

- The forest service may have some jobs that require mostly hiking.
– You could be a fire fighter as long as someone else drives the truck.

Why don’t you want a car?
