We are seeing The Dark Knight at the IMAX in Seattle, tomorrow. How early should we arrive?
There are 6 of us going—we all want to sit together, how early should we get there to stand in line?

definetly at least an hour before the movie begins.
i went to the midnight showing and got there roughly a half hour beofre the show started and both theaters were pretty much full.
I would say 1.5 -2 hours. Better yet, just get your least favorite friend to stand in line and buy 6 tickets.
I saw the midnight showing, and had to wait about an hour, but that was just with me and my boyfriend. Youre going with six people, so if you all want to sit in the same row you should go a couple hours earlier.
. Amazing movie! :)
At least 1.5 hours. People are lining up, so to get six of you together, you have to get there a little earlier.
A friend of mine here in Austin told me that he showed up for the midnight IMAX showing at 6:00PM and there was already a substantial line.
When I went to pick up my tickets (I ordered them online) at 4:00pm there was already a line of about 15 people! Seriously…eight hours before the movie. I thought that was kind of ridiculous. But hey, fans are fans. I got there at 10:30 and waited in a line for about five minutes then got in the theater. Think I was just lucky.
I just saw it in the IMAX. I was there an hour in advance and was in the middle. Somehow I still got an awesome seat though.
By the way, that movie is AWESOME!!!!!!!! It’s my second favorite now, next to the one and only fight club! Heath made that movie though. Poor guy… =(
Saw it at the Feinstein IMAX in Providence, RI this past Saturday during our vacation. Awesome movie experience. I live in MD and bought our tickets online. It was cool because we were able to select our seats at the time of the purchase, and arrived about 10 minutes before the start time. Very well organized venue, and afterwards I got to meet Nick in the adjacent food court area.
