I think season seven of The Simpsons is practically flawless. Season seven features a lot of genuinely heart warming episodes, along with a few adventurous episodes. Some episodes even deal with morality and ethics in a very funny way.

By far the best that I’ve seen on TV was Combat!! When I was a boy I lived to see that show each week (1962–1967 with Vic Morrow and Rich Jason). It drew me in and captured the strengths and weaknesses of being a man (my Dad died when I was 4).Such courage and strength to fight and win yet gentle and humorous at times. It exposed so many other human qualities while under great presure. I have all 5 years of episodes on DVD’s. It still brings tears to my eyes to watch them.

It’s a tie between Firefly and Freaks and Geeks.
Blackadder II was & remains the finest series of the four.
Stellar cast, beautifully written & consistently hilarious throughout.
Season 4 of Dexter with John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer.
I’m undecided between seasons of Seinfeld. It was a great show..and it matched with my brand of humor.
Season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (because Faith)
Season 2 of Community (Zombies! Claymation Christmas special! Dungeons & Dragons! Paintball!)
Season 2 of Gilmore Girls (because I like the Chilton years best, and the show had really started to hit its stride)
Season 3 of Star Trek: The Next Generation (because it was finally starting to feel like its own show, not just a reboot of TOS)
Season 6 of Xena Warrior Princess (because Gabrielle finally got to kick ass)
All the seasons of Firefly. Oh wait. Um…yeah. *sad grumpy face
