Have you ever won a Street Fighter game without Ken or Ryu?
The dragon punch and chi blasts make it impossible to defend against.

I’ve won with plenty of characters. Sagat, who plays a lot like them. Guile, Fei Long, Chun Li, Vega. I’ve beaten the game with just about everyone, except Dhalsim. This includes the original Street Fighter 2s plus the Alpha series.
And no, the dragon punch and fireball are not “impossible” to defend against. Every single move in this game is blockible except the grabs. There are methods to counter everything. I give it to you though, the fireballs are annoying when spammed, and the dragon punches make it very dangerous when jumping towards the guys who use them. Sagat with his tiger projectiles and upercut is actually the worse though. Fortunately, he seems weak at the knees, I usually win by tripping him every time he tries to huck balls at me. Of course, you have to get in close to him first.
I’ve won a lot by just standing with my back to the graphics and high/low kicking. works great with lots of them.
If we are talking about Street Fighter II, then I have won the game with every character that appears in Street Fighter II Turbo (which means Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, E. Honda, Blanka, Zangief, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and M. Bison).
Hey guys, so why won’t Guile ever get anywhere in life?
Because he’s always holding back. AAAAAAAAAAAHAHA lol
Higher levels? I guess I never played that version.
In the options, you have eight stars, and you can raise or lower them. The more stars, the harder the fighters are to fight. It starts off automatically at four stars if you don’t mess with it. If you beat the game with three or less stars, you don’t see your character’s ending.
Also all Street Fighter games have those difficulty levels besides the first one. I think, I only own ports of it on these retro collection packs I have.
Oh right. Well I guessbI never moved it from four stars. It has been decades since I played it.
I tried it on 8 stars once. Fuck that, I beat the first guy, but never got any further. It’s kinda cool for the difficulty levels, because depending on which star you’re on the fighters use different strategies and tactics.
For example, one star; just stand there and do nothing.
Eight stars; goin fuckin apeshit.
