Got any recipe ideas for cooked chicken and green beans?
Tonight, that’s what I have to work with for dinner. Any ideas? I do have pantry basics.

Slice the chicken into strips
Assuming the green beans are fresh, cut them about in half, not length wise, but across the middle to make them shorter.
Heat up a little olive oil in the bottom of a soup pot. Toss in the beans, stir them up and let them get hot. Put in a little chicken broth or water, toss in the chicken, cover and steam until the beans are tender, not mushy. Add dribbles of broth to keep a little liquid in the pot
Lots of salt and pepper and some teriyaki sauce, stir it in, thicken up and put it in a bowl. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
A quick and fresh stir-fry. Sliver (or cube) the chicken, slice an onion and a bell pepper (if you have it) and sauté in a flavored oil, with a little bit of salt. Maybe drizzle some balsamic on before serving.
I’ll be over to help around six. I’ll bring the wine. :-)
Either of the above on top of rice, which I consider a pantry staple.
Next time you could have a salad. Cooked green beans in a salad are de-lish
That stir fry looks delicious.
Another idea for next time is make a BBQ sauce (ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire) if you don’t already have some in a bottle, and have chicken and rice with the sauce, and sautéed green beans with salt to taste on the side.
Another idea is make a Chicken ala King thing.
