Anyone know of a utility that allows for one haded typing in OS X?
(har, har… I already know the jokes that are coming this way)

I won’t ask about the ‘why’s’ of this question…...
But, you can of course type with just one hand – several of my colleagues type with only 2 fingers! What sort of utility are you looking for exactly? Would it make the keyboard behave as short-hand (a bit like court-room thingys)?
I basically want a “half qwerty” layout on a full qwerty keyboard…
eg. F + modifier key = J or vice versa
You mean the opposite key? I don’t see the usability of that.
Sounds like you either need a Stenotype Machine or to perfect your one-handed skills with a normal keyboard. I think Stenotype machines still need two hands, though..
Realistically, won’t hitting the ‘modifier key’ be just as time-consuming as moving your left hand to the right side of the keyboard?
(And to avoid permanently scarring my image of you, I will assume your right arm is in a cast)
just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
I believe this is what your looking for. I’m not sure if it’s OS X compatable, though.
@intro24: your link is broken, but great answer anyway. :) And yep, the FrogPad/iFrog are compatible with OS X; see the info on their Mac page.
If you’re a supercoder, you could try using this.
