Can someone personally recommend a showerhead I do not have to keep replacing yearly?

All shower heads today seem to have a plastic connection that always breaks. Even if I make sure to buy a metal shower-head, the connection is always crap and within a short time will crack and break. Yesterday our 3rd shower head broke in a span of almost 3 year. My husband does not like the conservative shower-heads. I would like one with a hose attached because it is easier to rinse the tub out and wash the dog.
