Does the man say “I’m Diacus, a door-to-door door man. I’m a door-to-door door-to-door door salesman salesman. This door-to-door salesman can be yours today!” in this Vine video (https://vine.co/v/MMLAVIizjxb) ?
If that’s correct, what does “a door-to-door ‘door man’” mean?
As I see in the online dictionary, “doorman” means “doorkeeper”.
But is “door man” the same thing?

it means he goes from door to door to sell crap to people who neither want nor need the crap he sells.
For example the scumbags that ring the doorbell of unsuspecting grannies, unannounced and unrequested, to sell them life insurance.
In the 19th century they were called drummers. That’s how J.M. Haggar, founder of the Haggar clothing company, started.
By the way, I once did advertising for the company, and my mother wrote a book about ol’ J.M.
He sells doors. And he sells them by going door-to-door. Going door-to-door means he peddles things by going from house to house rather than having a store.
Truly dated and unfunny video.
As said above, a door-to-door salesman goes from residence to residence trying to sell something. In the video, the product being marketed is, literally, a door-to-door door salesman, being peddled door-to-door. Apparently the guys in the video think that the difficulty of verbalizing what’s taking place translates to video. It does not. It’s just stupid.
It means he’s neither open or closed minded & drinks from ajar.
Or, it means he’s a knob.
It depends on where you place the comma.
Isn’t that about sexual exploitation, @rojo
Nah, its about having affairs with married women.
maybe she is exploiting the situation but I don’t think a backdoor man would mind really.
