Why is Fluther search engine saying "404 That is an Error" when it is giving you the result?

I just searched one of the mods who I wrote to yesterday, and it is giving the result the mod’s avatar and username on top but it says “404 That is an error”

I tried it again, it is not doing that.
404 is usually a site not found or no longer in existence.
@Adirondackwannabe I was trying to copy paste the whole thing here when I tried it again. Okay now I see, the error message happens (even if the good result is there, if the term is off by a letter.
I find that happens to me all the time on here, when I put in a word in the search bar. The word, which I know will have been on this site, won’t come up but I’ll get that 404 message.
@flo If the web is so useful shouldn’t it be able to recognize a minor typo and work around it?
@Adirondackwannabe All I know is I’ve never experienced this before it, either gives me error, or it gives me the result. At first I just noticed the error part, I didn’t bother looking up to find the mod’s name and avatar is there.
@flo Well I spend too much time here. I’ve run across it multiple times.
I get a 404 whenever I try to search anything. It seems to me that the search engine is broken. Maybe one of the mods know.
Definitely, when I put in things that should come up (for example, words that have been used recently on the site), the message comes up.
It gives what I’m searching for along with the error message, I’m okay with it. Could it be it is it’s way of alerting me us to the spelling error?
How about the following problem have you had it?
You send a message to one of the mods, so not through “Contact the Mods” but through “Help”—->Moderators—-> and let’s say before he/she had a chance to respond, you want to add something, and you click on “Messages for You”, normally your message is there but sometimes it is not. But if you go to the mod’s page it is there. Has it happened to you?
I think I got that wrong. Please ignore that.
