No, I can’t name a single one that I think is funny. Generally they talk about periods, tampons, and how bad men are. Not subjects I find funny.
Amy Schumer, Maria Bamford, Tig Notaro
Right now, I’m loving Amy Schumer. and then there is me. I’m hilarious.
Paula Poundstone, Amy Schumer, Ellen DeGeneres (although I doubt she does stand up any more), Tig Notaro, Sarah Silverman, Cameron Esposito.
@chyna Pretty sure that most of the ones on my list do not base their comedy on “periods, tampons, and men”.
Tig Notaro
She’s not only funny but thought provoking as well.
As @syz has just mentioned, she definitely doesn’t base her material on “periods, tampons, and men” she’s quite a bit deeper than that.
She currently has an HBO special titled “Boyish Girl Interrupted”

And Wanda Sykes can still bring it.
There’s also a really feisty, sarcastic lady who did spots on the Daily Show. Can’t remember her name offhand. I’ll have to see if I can find it. She’s done some really hilarious interviews with the clueless.
Ok. Found it. I don’t even know for sure whether or not she does standup, but if not, she definitely should.
It’s Jessica Williams. Great commentary. Check her out on either YT or the Comedy Central website.
Ellen DeGeneres, Roseanne (in her prime), Margaret Cho (except she can be a little too raunchy, but she is hilarious), Rita Rudner, Lisa Ann Walter, Whoopi Goldberg (in her prime), and yes, definitely Wanda Sykes!!!
Amy Schumer
Natasha Legerro
I can not think of a single one.
Kristen Schaal (Daily Show, Flight of the Conchords), Paula Poundstone, Sarah Silverman.
I love listening to Paula on Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me on NPR. She is hilarious. And Kristen Schall! I fell in love with her in Flight of the Conchords.
I love Rita Rudner and Amy Schumer is a genius.
I’m with @cazzie I’m pretty hilarious too, we should do some improv.
I like Gilda Radner & Carol Burnett, a couple of great oldies.
I was entertaining everyone in a long line at the grocery store the other day. had everyone cracking up.
The women in front of me remarked that she chose the “quick” check because she had left her husband in the car and I quipped ” well..I hope you left the windows cracked for him.”
I’m a natural born entertainer and am energized by playful and witty personalities.
Moms Mabley. A true pioneer in comedy. Check her out on YouTube. She’s been gone a long time but she’s still hilarious.
I don’t think any female comedians are funny. I wonder why men are funnier?
^ Is it that you are just not familiar with them? What are your thoughts on Amy Schumer? I don’t think I’ve met anyone who doesn’t find her to be funny. How about Tig Notaro? Her dry comedic timing and storytelling is great. Sarah Silverman? Or how about Joan Rivers? She might have been known for her fashion stuff, but she was a legitimate comic who was great at her craft. Is it possible that you’re just used to consuming comedy in a format where a man tells jokes, so you’re unable to really appreciate the humor when the format seems so different?
@Pachy one of my favorite Moms Mabley quotes “my mother always told me never to talk about the dead unless it’s something good. Well he’s dead——Good!”
