How would you define a productive day?

Asked by serenityNOW (3643points) August 25th, 2015

Today: I went to a new therapist. I wrote in my journal which I’ve been finding vital in these stormy days. I sketched (trying to do it daily in order to enhance my drawing skills.) I went job hunting and applied for a new job. I went to the library and read. And of course, all the minutiae of a typical day. Still, I have that lingering sensation that I didn’t do my best – that I could’ve done more. I tackled my entire daily to-do list, but… shucks, I don’t know. So, how do you define a productive day?

Finish studying till I’m satisfied, play tennis, watch Korean Drama, and drink a lot of water.

If I feel satisfied and not anxious at the end of it.

If I do something around the house that I’ve been wanting to get to, like organize stuff or clean something, or some kind of crafty activity, or something with the pets, like cleaning tanks. If I did two or more things, that would be productive. Outside the home, it would be errands like car maintenance or something like that.
