You wake up in combat, which scenario of combat would you prefer to wake up in?
You can’t explain it, or know how you got there, but you wake up in real combat in some alternate world. Out of combat on a Medieval hillside with pol axes, broadswords, masses, etc. a battle in a large warehouse full of shipping containers with assault weapons, a back alley street brawl where anything from lead pipes, chains, or whatever one can lay hands on, etc. or a melee in a bar with everyone armed with knives and straight razors, which would you want to wake up fighting in? What physical ability you have now, is what ability you will have to fight with.

Having had to face this very enemy many times over in the recent past of hungry young men who were invited to a sleep over by my son….I am extremely confident I can take on any sized army armed just with Costco sized boxes of frozen waffles.
Whichever I can most easily escape from.
I would have to see the actual topographical layouts of the different AOs to make a decision.
The kind I’m trained for and familiar with – M4, desert/mountain, dark.
The warehouse. It seems to me that where guns are concerned, stupidity can get you killed or help you kill your enemy (his/her stupidity, not mine), and common sense can be a real aid. Knowing what a bullet can do if placed in the proper local can be of great help.
Medieval hillside with poleaxes and swords and arrows and shit. So I can go to Valhalla if I die.

Well, this is not Dungeons & Dragons, you have generally three areas, a hillside, a warehouse, and a back alley, I would suggest the alley if you want an easy escape, you don’t need a 3D model to imagine those as they are fairly simple.

Sorry, but that battle plan is not on the table. :-0
Medieval combat. Gives me a greater sense of control and familiarity.
Of course, what really matters is which side has the advantage, and what the situation is after the battle (and/or if you run like hell). For example, the bar scene may tend to be the easiest to flee to someplace safe.
