Yes. I met an alien in when I was in grade 3.

He had green scaly skin and red scaly eyes. I cannot remember his name. Edit he might of had ichthyosis.

We ARE extraterrestrial life, ever since the first bits of life giving material from space found our planet and it all began. haha
Anything is possible but doesn’t seem highly probable unless you believe in all the alien abduction stories. I’ll check out your link though, I love interesting concepts and theories.

I do not.

ETs are like God and ghosts – I’ve been open to all my entire life, and the half century was my mark.
I didn’t close the door, but I called the odds.

No. I so wish SETI would find a signal.
Practically every day we find a new Exoplant. NASA now estimates an average of 1.6 plants for every star. Every 6 months or so we discover another exoplanet in the “Goldilocks zone” around a star. Every decade our equipment gets bigger and better and our reach longer so eventually I believe we will pick up a signal. We won’t be able to communicate with them due to the long distance and the speed of light but we should be able to identify a signal with intelligence.
So far, nothing.

The evidence does not support that conclusion.
None of the ones in that list, anyway.
Do you not find it suspicious that they all look like humans?
How anthropocentric of you filthy self-glorified apes.

No. I think there certainly could be extra terrestrial life out there (even highly probable), but the odds they’re intelligent and that they have the means/desire to visit us seems low.

Eventually we will find life. The universe is enormous.

For myself, to think that this is it, that if one cannot see nor envision something, it must not be…is as egocentric as those who jailed Galileo.
The thought that everything revolves around earth and everything was created for us to ‘use’ is more frightening to me than the thought of other lifeforms who will or already have established contact with earth.
You can’t just turn a blind eye to things and say that IT doesn’t make sense and therefore IT is not.
Truth be known, with the ‘stupid’ that seems to have a grip upon most worldwide, it wouldn’t take much to envision that we and our particular solar system have most likely been roped off from everything else with a big sign stating : ‘Do Not Ever, Ever Do This!!!!’ We could be the ultimate ‘OOPS!’
Perhaps Rod Sterling was farsighted and totally correct in the ending of his episode of The Twilight Zone with humans on display in an alien zoo. :\

Though I have yet to view that version, I have seen videos of interviews of people who claimed to have been abducted, and people who believed they had a close encounter of the 2nd kind. If I had to go purely off science, I would say it has to be plausible. Spiritually I would be plausible but highly unlikely we would run into anyone else that was a part of Creation in some other part of universe.
