If you were going to dress for Halloween, and cost were not an issue, nor supplies, nor time; what would you be?
One restriction; it has to represent the most frightening thing you can think of.
Please describe, and/or provide links.
Once you have chosen your costume, you may join the Fluther Halloween Party here

That’s a pretty damned big restriction. You could say it restricts you to exactly one thing: Your biggest fear.
In which case I would be dressed up as an oxygen-free environment.
I would have to then (Shudder) dress up as a Liberal
@Cruiser – did you link to ixquick on purpose?
Mouldy food. I’ve got a mould phobia. I don’t think that there is a costume for that and I’m not happy to be proved wrong!
I would dess as a jiggypuff.
I do not have a fursuit, unfortunately.
@Cruiser
you could borrow one of your family heirloom costumes.
@Stinley , I won’t attempt to prove you wrong. If you find there is something which represents, then you are set. Thanks for being brave enough to answer honest.
@Seek , yours should be cool and easy. Sandra Bullock in a space suit.
How does one design a costume of one of their children dead? That would probably be any mothers greatest fear.
@Cruiser – I have to give you credit, I couldn’t do it even as a joke. It scares the kids. I’d probably pick something in the same vein, maybe a vampire.
@Judi , for me it feels more like a sadness than a fear, but we all emote individually. I should think dressing in regular at home clothes, and carry an empty infant seat with several black ribbons tied to it.
@Jaxk , ROFLOL
@ragingloli , I think we can go out and shoot something for you. You can do the skinning.
@talljasperman , so sorry, if I seem insensitive, but I would love to see you in your jiglypuff costume.
I would wear my Lom Dick Cheney costume.
^^^^^^^^^ (screaming) (and running)
No, just a waterboard which doesn’t hurt a bit.
My biggest fear? Becoming homeless in my old age.
Easy to dress up in a bag lady costume, sadly. haha
I would be a snake coming out of a toilet.
@janbb , wow. You went to someplace dark quick! Yucky!
@ibstubro LOL..I just sent that picture to my daughter who will love it. haha
Here’s my old Halloween standby, the duck faced women. lol
Jeez, biggest fear? Fuuuck…either being blind, or homeless. Diseases and cancer scares me too. So, I would be a blinded, homeless eyeball with leprosy or something. If I can’t make a big round costume, I’ll just go as a bag lady. Me and @Coloma, throwing cats at everyone.
Karl Rove, the evil mastermind.
… coming out of a toilet.
@ragingloli Not sure whether to click on that link or not!
@Seek….crap..uh no…typically what happens when I have way to much shit on my plate! lol!
@Jaxk I only dress up as a blood sucking Liberal on Halloween to scare the parents! lol
I don’t even like the idea of dressing up as my biggest fear or something very scary to me. I would never do it.
I guess if I have to answer though it would be dressing as a Nazi or KKK person.
I’d never do it.
@Symbeline , I’m hoping for the big, diseased eyeball.
@ragingloli , good grief! That is just a striped sock puppet and a guy covered in red jello. I am confident @janbb can do better than that.
@Espiritus_Corvus , that would make me laugh.
@janbb , go ahead and see the link. It is pretty benign, what with the low budget effects they use.
@JLeslie , reassuring patting on the back. It was very brave of you to face the answer honestly. You can be a sunflower if you want to.
I’ve been a butterfly and a bee for Halloween. In my first grade poem I was a sunflower. I still have a copy of it.
Oh dear. A thing like that must be shared.
Bill Cosby: as the early comedian phase before ‘stupid’ settled over him…and stayed on and on and on…
You can’t dress up as n/0 so I guess that means I’d go as a spider. Just keep me away from any mirrors.
@flutherother If you did that, you’d have to hold the facial expression all night.
The absolute worst thing I can think of is what happened to New Orleans’ prisoners during Hurricane Katrina. They weren’t evacuated and were locked in their cells for days after the power went out, in the dark, with no air circulation, no food or water, in chest to neck high water that was full of raw sewage. Then during the evacuation people walked through dirty floodwaters, were beaten and pepper sprayed, and were still not given food or water.
I won’t be dressing up as that. It’s too real, and too sad.
@ZEPHYRA
You could get a dodecahedron costume and dress up as the nucleus of a herpes virus.
