How can I make my hair temporarily black?

Hi guys! It’s been a while.
So, my friends birthday is on Sunday and we are all dressing up as our favorite Adventure Time Characters. I’ve chosen Marceline the Vampire Queen for obvious reasons. So, I need to find a way to make my hair black for only one night. I tried some of the black hair spray that you can get at Halloween time, but it doesn’t really work if you already have dark hair. All it did was leave my hair the color it already is (medium/dark brown) and make it feel really gross. Any ideas?
Thanks guys!

sorry about the link malfunction…
For one night only? How about buying, renting or borrowing a wig? A wig seems like it would be more fun than going through the hassle of coloring one’s hair and then getting rid of the temporary effect.
You can rent wigs?! I tried one of those cheap Halloween wigs, but it’s a hassle to fit all of my hair under it, and it gets tangled really easily.
I looked at a lot of options, and wig was the consensus if the spray-on doesn’t suit you.
Roux Fanci Full seems to be really crap!
If that is you in your avatar you should consider black hair on a more long-term basis.
Some of those products are ‘temporary’ as in days or weeks, @marinelife, and some seem to simply not work.
I watched a couple of demos of Roux Fanci Full on You Tube and it looked worthless for what @AshLeigh‘s looking for.
Personally, I’d go with a wig or go with @ARE_you_kidding_me‘s suggestion and try a rinse that will darken your hair for a week to month, @AshLeigh. I agree that it might look good on you.
I might just go with a temporary dye.
I don’t know if it would work for you, but you might want to consider hair chalk.
Update: I posted a few pictures here
I agree that the dark hair suits you!
Thank you :) I am now considering something more permanent XD
