You know, like teddy bears or fwuffy wabbits, a huggable Snoopy or an adorable Tigger. That kind of thing & if so, how many currently call your bed “home” ?
Just another fluff question, nowt to get too excited about =0}

My dog and my youngling often end up in there…
I passed on Snuggle Bear (a tattered replica of the fabric softener mascot I’ve had since infancy) to Ian last year. He has a cherished place on Ian’s desk, out of reach of the above-mentioned puppy.
Two standard schnauzers and a Burmese cat (they all snore too and hog the bed). They’re fluffy and cuddly and asleep right now.
A bear and a rabbit. The bear is in a pink jogging suit.
A sea turtle and a frog I got from girl scouts. Why yes, I am a 27 year old woman…
Martin, my three-legged, FIV-positive cat.
Ok, he’s technically not a toy, but he’s the best teddy bear I’ve ever had.
An 8 year old daughter, 4 cats that come and go as they please, and a rotating succession of stuffed animals too numerous to try to document. I’m luck there’s room for me.
A three-foot-long orange cat.
Oh, wait… he’s awake and walking towards the food dish…
A 52-lb black & white Ninja Shepherd. He is startlingly light on takeoff and landing. I never notice he’s on the bed until it’s too late. He already claimed squatter-rights.
Anyway, it’s nice to have him there so I pretend I don’t know the “NO dogs on the bed!” has been violated.
I have pillows. Nine pillows in the bed, plus two cushions. I like hugging them while sleeping, and burying myself in them. I always leave the window open, even in Winter, so it’s super cold in the room, but with all those pillows and my huge puffy comforter I’m all nice and snug in there.
Of course, waking up and getting out of bed is a huge bitch. Although for some reason I usually wake up like one or two hours before the alarm goes off, and I usually shut the window at that time. My bed is against the wall and the window is there so I don’t have to leave the bed. Sometimes the window is frozen there though. In the Summer it’s different. Can’t bury myself in all the softness. But it’s all still there.
But yeah. I have pillows. Lots. I get sad when I wake up and a pillow is on the floor. Lol.
I also have two cats who love the bed, perhaps more than I. One is always under the blankets with me, always right by my head. The other kitty seems content sleeping wherever my feet are. I love when they purr, it’s an excellent sleep aid. Not so much when they decide to go all Street Fighter on the bed though. They usually come in the bed when I go in, but most times when I wake up they’re gone. When it’s a weekend and I sleep in, they eventually come back…when they’re not meowing for food like mad bastards, that is.
None, and there will never be unless my future wife has one to prop her up.
wouldn’t you want to be the one to prop her up? :D
^ Oh, i will be there behind her. <tick tick>
One deva-dog body chewed well beyond recognition. Squeeker a hollow shell inside.
One aqua dolphin- bare of fur on gut- fins spitty color. Squeaker sacrificed early on,
One tiger has held up better- squeeks in head and butt. Both work- different pitches.
None are mine.
Four pillows and two chenille throws.
The pillows- mine
Everything else- dogs and cat own them.
I sleep in a 12” wide strip on the far right side of the queen sized matress.
2 live cats
2 small pillow pets (elephant and tiger
2 regular size pillow pets (panda and a penguin)
That’s all I have to say about that.
One snuggly furry cat, stuffed, (with food) but very much alive.
I have a sock monkey on my bed. Sometimes I have a beagle (a real one).
Right now, there is a penguin named Elvis made of New Zealand sheep skin. He is named for Elvis Costello, not the other one.
None in my bed or bedroom, just living breathing creatures are there.
I think I still have a favorite stuffed puppy from childhood, a Kermit, and possibly and an Opus (glad that Bloom County is back!) somewhere in storage, along with a couple of my son’s favorites from when he was little.
