What percentage of ipad owners don't use Safari as their browser?
MY guess is that Safari is using by 99% of ipad users; that Chrome and other browsers are barely ever used.
What’s your thought?

Well I don’t have an IPad but do have two macs and mainly use safari with chrome as a back up,if I had to guess I would say in the high 90% plus but that is just a guess
I believe iPad still only allows for browsers to use the Safari rendering anyway.
So Chrome is just a Chrome wrapper around Safari’s innards. You can’t change the default browser either, everything opens in Safari unless you set something specific within an app.
So your stats are probably right, but not just because of people’s choices.
I’m using my iPad now & am on safari, look at those lions, giraffes & elephants…say cheese!
There are several browsers in the App store which enable viewing of Flash content (other than Chrome) so for those who are fed up with the Flash prohibition of Safari, these other browsers fit their needs.
Firefox is quite popular and I use it on my iPhone all the time.
So, my guess would be that there is a significant percentage of users who choose to use a non-Safari browser at least part of the time due to the Flash limitations inherent in Safari.
If this were not the case then there wouldn’t be the significant download numbers for these alternate browsers.
I use Chome because it syncs across platforms. I have all my bookmarks organized.
