I’ve had two in the past week.
Cranberry Splash Sierra Mist.
Cranberry Stove Top Stuffing.
The Stove Top has a year shelf life, so I started stocking up today!

Homemade Scandinavian almond bars
They are available all year long, but I like the Danish butter cookies in the cans.
Bob’s Peppermint Candy Canes.
Either the big hooked ones in the box, which also looked good on a tree. Disappearing as magical elves ate them.
Or
The small ones that come in long strips- great for decorating also.
We had to put them high enough on the tree that the dog didn’t get them, and higher still so the cat, in cahoots with the dog, didn’t knock them off for the dog to get.
So, like, yeah. Two CC’s next to the tree topper. Damn, that cat could climb!
I bought some mince pies in the supermarket this week. So nice. Are these just a UK thing?
I like Panettone, too, but I buy it and then don’t eat it.
I also like homemade apple pie and homemade pumpkin pie. Costco makes a decent store bought pumpkin pie, huge and only $5.99.
As far as stores go, there’s nothing in particular. Lots of stuff at Trader Joe’s now is pumpkin flavored, for the season.
Cranberry sauce that looks like a tin can!
Don’t give me any of that chi-chi, whole-berry stuff. I want the jellied version that slips out with a “shlmpf” noise and then wiggles on the serving plate. I need to see the seam and rings from the can.
This is the cranberry sauce of my childhood, and I love it as much now as I did then.
My grandpa makes corned beef every Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s some good stuff, man.
During the year, for some reason we don’t make deviled eggs. I love them and sometimes pick off the cosmetically challenged ones before they hit the table.
