What are some words that are spelled differently from Canadian and American?
Like potatoe and potato, and check and cheque.

Center, center. Color, colour. Theater, theatre. Honor, honour. Most of those of similar types, just for starters.
Well, if the Quebecois haven’t seceded yet, there’s the whole French dictionary.
The most obvious are color, honor (although on formal invitations we sometimes use the honour spelling) and harbor.
I’m pretty sure travelled and traveled? Judgement and judgment. Do Canadians use doughnut? America usually spells it donut. What about omelette? Omelet? I often spell it omelette, because that spelling make more sense to me.
In the US we call people from Canada Canadians. In Canada, they spell it Canadiens.
The Canadians tend to follow the Brits in their Euro-centric spellings. Is gray (US) spelled grey (UK) in Canada?
Grey and gray are both used synonymously in the US.
