When is it OK to enroll in a general studies degree?

Asked by talljasperman (21919points) November 14th, 2015

I don’t have a specific field that I want to go in. I just want to learn and use my extra time accomplishing something other than mastering a video game . I’m still on disability and it looks like I am recovering and have new possibilities coming ahead. Courses cost between $750 and $1,000 each, and are online.

When you just want to take classes and find out what you are interested in.

Do not pay that amount for an online course. There are free options. Or you can go to a college for less.

I’d recommend taking a class or two at a community college. Good way to get credits and it isn’t extremely costly.
