Where can I find a composer to make a score for my animation?
Do you know anyone? Or heck – are you even one yourself?
I’ve been Googling to run into people but it’s a bit exhausting since I’m looking for a very specific feel. The genre of my animation is a comedy sci-fi. Most things are inspired by the music of the modern Doctor Who series with Murray Gold, for example. Although I’m leaning towards a jazz feel.

Do you have a musical score and recording budget?
How much?
I’m not your person, just asking.
Suggestion: Rather than pay for an entire score which would be expensive and probably obligate you to pay rights, why not check out some of the stock music houses you can find by Googling. I did a TV commercial years ago and needed music—and found the perfect score for a fraction of the cost an original one would have cost.

@Pachy there’s a lot of people out there that are just starting to compose who will do this sort of thing for very little. A good composition can make the world of difference to animation or film and raise.
Anyhoo try this guy.

(not me. A friend. But he’s good)
The son of a friend of mine. He is on scholarship at Vanderbilt for composition. I don’t know if he has the time to do it, but he might be interested.
How long is the piece? How many minutes?
I’d like to try and get a theme song first done for a trailer.
@Pachy Wow I actually. . . wow I kind of really like this. I’m listening to his stuff right now. Thanks!
Just let me know if you want me to ask him.
